The issue we are solving
Today, we can produce electricity at low cost from renewable sources like hydropower, solar, or wind energy. We can also store this energy with batteries or pumped hydro for hours or some days.
But when it comes to storing it for longer times like months or from summer to winter, or storing it in a dense form for transport over long distances, including overseas, the world doesn't have any scalable solution yet. But we do.
Our aproach
Explore how apricot 366 tackles the challenge of long-term energy storage with an innovative solution, using aluminum.
We provide heat and electricity antime, anywhere, based on renewable energy that is stored chemically in aluminium without CO2 emissions.

The missing piece
For a complete shift to renewable energies by 2050, this is the missing piece of the puzzle. And we at apricot 366, provide this missing piece.

Aluminium cycle
Aluminum is produced from aluminum oxide using renewable electricity, without COâ‚‚ emissions. We can store and transport this energy vector, and release the stored energy anywhere at anytime as heat and hydrogen, from which we also produce electricity.
